Echoes Of Being
Echoes of Being explores memory, presence, and essence through abstract and representational forms. Using watercolour, gouache, and mixed media, each piece transforms personal experience, objects, or moments into tangible, visual expression. Colours, shapes, and textures carry the echoes of what has been—capturing the subtle traces of people, places, and memories. Each artwork becomes a timeless tribute, a vessel of remembrance that preserves emotion and significance. These immortalised images invite reflection, allowing memory and feeling to linger long after the moment has passed.

A part of my grandfather, Donald Keith Campbell, found his way back to me after 14 years. His ashes, once kept quietly, now live within this new series of paintings.
A piece of him lives in every brushstroke, woven with his ashes, the symbolic butterfly painted in the colours of the Campbell tartan. The thistle ties us back to our Scottish roots, a reminder of the strength and legacy carried through generations.
Art as remembrance, Art as connection.
Forever remembered Dada.
