Welcome to

I am an artist living on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, a landscape that continually inspires me with its wild beauty and timeless presence. My creative journey began at Falmouth Art School, where I studied Illustration and graduated in 1999, and for the past 25 years I have shared my love of creativity as a teacher of art and digital photography.

Beyond the classroom, I have always been drawn to the natural world. I collect taxidermy and curiosities from nature, fascinated by the way they preserve fleeting moments of life. This fascination with immortalisation has been deeply personal, shaped by the loss of loved ones and a desire to keep memory alive through art.

Through my practice, I create paintings in watercolour and gouache, capturing wildlife, flowers, pets, equine companions, and the natures landscapes. Some works incorporate ashes into the pigments, allowing memory to live on within the very fabric of the painting. My aim is to offer art that is not only beautiful, but also deeply meaningful: an immortalised image that honours love, memory, and the enduring presence of those we hold dear.
